Born and raised in Washington, DC, Jason Holley has worked in the Entertainment Industry for over two decades. Best known as one of the leading tap dancers of his generation, he has appeared on Broadway, TV, Film, and stages worldwide. Mentored by Debbie Allen, Jason has performed in several productions under her direction including Brothers Of The Knight, Pepito’s Story, Dreams, and Dancing In The Wings. Jason made his Broadway debut in Shuffle Along starring Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Billy Porter. He was also a dancer and choreographer for the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks and Tokyo Disney, and starred as Lincoln Perry in the stage production of A Wonderful World.
Jason’s Television credits include: The Late Late Show with James Corden, All Rise, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Disney+ Encore!, the 1996 Kennedy Center Honors, honoring Shirley Temple, and World of Dance season 2.
Jason can be seen in the Holiday musical film, Spirited starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds, and Octavia Spencer. He was also assistant choreographer for the Sundance Film Festival award-winning movie Theater Camp.
Pamela Yasutake is a Seattle Native Performer, Choreographer and Instructor. Widely known as a member of the hit Female Tap Sensations, Syncopated Ladies, Pamela has wooed audiences around the world performing live in sold-out concerts and in viral videos accumulating over 50 million views online.
In 2016, Pamela made her Broadway debut in the original cast of “Shuffle Along, Or, The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed”. Directed by George C. Wolfe and choreographed by Savion Glover, the critically acclaimed production received ten 2016 Tony Award Nominations, including Best Musical.
Pamela’s television credits include The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS), The 70th Annual Tony Awards (CBS), Maya & Marty (NBC), So You Think You Can Dance (FOX) and Good Morning America (ABC).
In her hometown of Seattle, Pamela has performed and choreographed for Seattle Theatre Group’s production of “Dance This…”, eight seasons of the Black Nativity Play of Seattle in which she performed the lead dancer role of Mary for two consecutive seasons, and various appearances and performances with her home studio, Northwest Tap Connection. In 2021, Pamela worked as a core dancer on the musical film, “Spirited” starring Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer which premiered on Apple TV+ during the 2022 holiday season. Pamela continues to be a highly sought after faculty member on countless tap festivals and dance conventions.
Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and is an interdisciplinary artist who believes in using the power of the arts to transform the conditions of the human spirit. Brinae has served as the artistic director of Tapology, Inc. in Flint, MI, Fourth Wall Arts Salon, and Sound and Movement, LLC in Philadelphia. She has also partnered and served as a teaching artist with organizations such as Ping Chong and Company, NJPAC, Moving History, and the Apollo Theater Education Department. She has also received awards for Best Short Play at the Downtown Urban Theater Festival for her one woman show “Steps” and the Vox Populi Independence Music Award for “Destination Forever: Vol.1 EP.” Her Broadway and Off-Broadway experiences include Shuffle Along and STOMP.
Currently, Brinae is a lecturer at Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory, co-creator of a work in progress with trumpeter Sean Jones called “Dizzy Spellz”, a member of the Baltimore Jazz Collective, and cultural ambassador for diplomacy through the lens of Hip Hop culture as an artist in residence with Next Level-USA in partnership with the U.S. Department of State Education and Cultural Affairs, the University of North Carolina, and the Meridian International Center. Ali is also a National Dance Projects Grant recipient and Art for Social Change Fellow through Johns Hopkins University’s Inheritance Baltimore/Billie Holiday Center for Liberation Arts for a new work in progress archival performative process called the “Baby Laurence Legacy Project.”
Alyse Montgomery is a graduate of Spelman College of Atlanta, GA, and The George Washington University of Washington, DC. Alyse is one of the founding members of the innovative all female dance company, Just Tap, and now Sole Defined. She has travelled the world for audiences of all ages, including The International Children’s Festival of Turino, Italy, Wolf Trap Theater, Atlas Theater Intersections Festival, and the Millennium Stage of the Kennedy Center. With a passion to educate our youth, she is currently a tap instructor servicing youth in the Washington D.C. area. Alyse believes that dance is a means of self-expression, and her dedication to the art has help shape her into the woman she is today.
